Used Bike Sales - We provide quality name brand used bikes at affordable prices. Our bikes have been refurbished and tuned up by expert volunteer mechanics. Sale bikes are a mix of mid level mountain, road and hybrids; we occasionally have high end bikes as well. To see our bikes for sale, click here. Used Bike Parts - We have crates full of a huge variety of used bicycle components from derailleurs to brake levers to vintage frames, forks and wheels. These parts are generally low to mid-range quality, perfect for getting that old bike in the garage back on the road. We also have a smaller selection of higher end parts.

Boulder's Bike Commuter Shop - We have everything you need to be a successful bike commuter; fenders, panniers, lights, bells, trailers and more.

Where the money goes - Community Cycles is a 501(c)3 non profit organization. We collect landfill-bound bicycles and use them to teach bicycle mechanics and encourage bicycle commuting. Read more about our bicycle advocacy programs. Proceeds from used bike sales and tune ups support our efforts to get more people on bikes in Boulder and the Colorado Front Range.

Bicycle Tune Ups

Our basic tune up includes adjustments and lubrication on all major components of your bike. Additional fees will apply if you need parts or more advanced repairs. If you would like to have your bike tuned up, drop it off at the shop during open hours.

$75 Bike Tune-Ups (10% off for members)

• Adjust brakes; inspect pads for wear.
• Adjust derailleurs
• Quick wipedown of bike
• Inflate tires; inspect for wear/damage.
• Lubricate chain; check for wear.
• Lubricate derailleur and brake pivots if necessary
• Grease seat post and stem if necessary
• Make sure quick releases are seated and tightened properly.
• Inspect for loose parts, check that hubs are properly adjusted, wheels are true.
• Take bike for a test ride.
• Notify customer if bike needs further work.
• New and used parts are available for the price of the part plus installation
