2011 Walk and Bike Month Events

The 35th annual Boulder Walk & Bike Month is a diverse celebration of more than 70 biking and walking activities organized throughout June. Boulder’s Walk and Bike Month is among the largest in the nation. Presented by GO Boulder, Walk & Bike Month is the largest free event held in Boulder. Organizers expect over 5,000 riders and pedestrians will turn out for Bike to Work Day, being held on June 22 this year. For the third year, activities are being coordinated by Community Cycles.

Community Cycles, Seniors on Bikes, Boulder Mountainbike Alliance, Walk Boulder and many other local companies and clubs are hosting events. In addition, there will be weekly group bicycle rides for all ages and skill levels, kids’ bike rodeos, and walks and runs at various Boulder locations.
